CYBER Product Line Engineer

Job Description:

  • Provide life cycle support (troubleshooting, monitoring, testing, supporting, technical planning) for software on RED HAT LINUX operating system with execution on a DELL hardware platform
  • Systems Engineering to include supporting systems, identifying improvements to systems, generating CONOPS for implementation, user requirements, test, support and technical planning. 
  • System integration, generating scripts, tools and mechanisms for monitoring, managing, and improving supported systems. 
  • Data flow optimization and operation support of systems, creation of scripts, tools, other automation mechanisms for monitoring, managing and improving systems.
  • Perform system and network administration support, creating and maintaining system backups, documentation of standard operation procedures.
  • Trouble shooting and testing systems and subsystems; documentation and identification of bugs or discrepancies, troubleshooting procedures; regression testing; performance of Operational Acceptance Tests and Operational Evaluations of system upgrades.
  • Provide hardware and software engineering support, health and status, monitoring of systems, SOPs for systems.
  • Demonstrated experience providing training support for operations and support personnel.

  • Provide development support of product lines, coordination with developer organizations, and Concept of Operations documents.
  • Create, maintain and utilize test beds in lab spaces.
  • At Least Nine (9) Years System - Engineering (SE) Work Experience (5 Years With a Bachelor's Degree) to Include

  • Using and implementing technologies; Integrating technologies into fielded systems; application of the System Engineering philosophies and principles to produce real-world systems.  (SDLC, CMMI, etc)
  • At Least 5 Years SE Work Experience To Include

  • Quality Assurance and Configuration Management efforts and programs. Managing system requirements and system requirements processes.   Application of Risk Management techniques. System Test Programs. Troubleshooting and monitoring systems. System Architecting. Experience with the following Technologies: UNIX, LINUX, and WINDOWS platforms; Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project); CISCO network products (or others).
  • Experience with the following technologies:

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a technology related field such as Computer Science (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, etc.) from an accredited four-year college or University.

This job requires that you possess the proper Department of Defense Clearances needed for access to sensitive information including the ability to pass a polygraph exam.
